When now the people are going to abandon their homes, stop casting a short distance from the town.

The Valle del Bove is a large part of south-eastern sector of Etna volcanic complex and is a glimpse into the complex geological history of the vulcan.
The origin of this valley has been extensively debated and even today, scientists do not all agree about its formation. The thesis of the Valle del Bove and only as a huge caldera collapse, has endured for many years and is still popularly widespread. The scene that opens at the height of the valley is beautiful, there is the view of the panorama of Catania, Taormina and the coast of Italy (Reggio Calabria).
